I'm bored wth no boxing on t.v...when's the next set of good fights?

I hate waiting weeks on end to watch some good boxing. does anyone know when there is some more good fights on?

oh i just see someone post about karim mayfield. i forgot he was fighting this weekend. I think he will be world champion soon.

 

Antonio Escalante vs Rocky Juarez should be a good fight today

 

I think Herrera will beat him today. Herrera is a bit of a prospect killer. Karim is very athletic but he is one of those guys that picked up boxing late which means he makes alot of mistakes. Herrera is the type of guy to force him to make those mistakes and make him pay. If Karim passes this test he is ready to step up to a title eliminator.

I am going with Herrera in the upset.

 

Rafael Marquez is fighting Christian Mijares today as well. I had no idea until I checked the schedule.

Miguel Vasquez is fighting Marvin Quintero today also.

 

yup...marvins lil scrappy ass is gonna give a great fight, but i think vasquez will beat him

 

Vasquez vs Quintero should be a good, exciting fight.

 

I used to train at the same gym as Mayfield. His trainer Ben Bautista taught me some boxing before. Karim does appear to make a few mistakes here and there. Being that he started boxing at 18, it's a natural given that he won't have the savvy experience of a veteran yet.

However, I think Mayfield's natural physical size and athleticism will be too much for Herrera. Mayfield is HUGE for 140. Mayfield's fought as high as 154 before.
