    Great tribute, thanks for that.

  3. Good post. Maybe people can maintain this class and not drive CHEF from the forum with trolling.

I only met Emanuel Steward once, but I'm still almost not comprehending that he's gone. This has easily hit me the hardest out of any of the boxing losses that have occured while I was a boxing fan over the past 7 or 8 years or so.

Good to hear from you, Chef. Sorry it has to be under such terrible circumstances.

Manny's passing is a loss to all of us, but I can only imagine how much moreso for those who were his friends.

On a positive note, the man lived an incredibly rich & rewarding life, a life most of us can only dream of.

I never talked to Manny or met him, but I'm moved by his passing because he was a humanitarian and a mentor for us all to be better individuals. He seemed like the type of bloke who had time for just about everyone and listened to everyone, despite his status.

I can only hope to be half as big a man as Emanuel, and I will try to take some of his life lessons to heart whilst I walk my road here in life.

David, it's a nice piece written from you, my condolences, really.... I suppose we should be happy knowing that Emanuel got to do what he wanted to do in life, he loved boxing and he got to do boxing for most of his adult life!

RIP Manny, you'll never be forgotten.
