Concerning P4P, though I know its not the question of the thread -Mike didnt struggle with big HWs, he struggled to hit very FAST and skilled big HWs who fought him defensively.

    Thats a big difference.

Athletic heavyweights with good chins who were mobile and had good footwork.

James Tillis was the only guy who I would say gave Mike a challenge and Mike still clearly won the fight. And Tillis was only 6'1" but his fast, mobile style and iron chin kept him in it and he even won a few rounds against him towards the end. Mike was still young at that point and learning though.

Guys like Tucker were decent but Mike clearly controlled the entire fight against him. Then there were the clinchers like Smith and Green who just held on for dear life.

Flat footed, lumbering, slow skilless and chinless Wlad is literally executed 20 seconds after the bell.

The real question is who would you rather see come back. Marciano or Ruiz?

Lol I voted Vitali just to spite this shitty thread. The answer is obviously Mike. At least he would be exciting and might lose a few. Klitchskos are boring because you always know they will win. Hell, just a few months ago this board was saying the Klitchskos have destroyed boxing and ruined the sport because they always win.

I think Wlad could be competitive against Tyson if he can survive the first 6 rounds. Was Tyson as effective or as explosive later on?

Though I'd still pick Mike to KO Wlad within 5 rounds.

Tyson-Vitali would be a much better fight

I think the OP started this thread to bait, no-one in their right mind would pick Vitali over possibly the most exciting fighter in the ring ever

6 rounds?? He'd be lucky if he was still sucking air after round 1.

The outcome of this fight is a no brainer. Mike destroys on the inside , Wlad is completely clueless on the inside. He will be standing upright staring him in the face with a huge knock me out sighn stuck to his chin.

    You call yourselves boxing fans?

What a ****ing stupid poll. And who are the 7 idiots who picked a fraud over Iron Mike?

Vitali has done nothing in his career. His best win is over an old, fat, out-of-shape version of Corrie Sanders, who also dropped him in the first round.

well thats what I mean by fighting on the defense - guys who come in to spoil and run, rather than win.

Out of them, Tucker was the one who could have beaten him, if its true that he fought with a broken hand for much of the fight.

I think Holyfield is the perfect foil for Tyson. His infighting, counter punching, technical ability, iron chin and will to win means I'll always pick Holyfield over any version of Tyson

    :huh:huh

Tyson didn't fight on the inside, he wasn't an infighter at all. He was a mid range fighter. When Mike got inside, he would tie up and try to throw elbows, I don't think that would bother Wlad much. Mike would have to get to him at mid-range, which against Klitschko is easier said than done

Tyson would get tied the **** up IF he managed to get past the jab. A jab that's one of the best in history. Tyson wouldn't be up against Green or Tucker.. he would be up against a guy a hell of a lot better. If Mike thinks Douglas hit him hard... Lol :yep
