Jorge Barrios knocked out Janos Nagy in thirty seconds without taking a punch on HBO. I think that has to be the only title fight ever where one guy lands 100 percent of his punhes thrown (2) and made his opponent miss one hundred percent of his shots (1).

I remember that, Barrios ko'd him with a left-hook to the body didn't he? I remember some, UK tv among them, saying Nagy had a real chance. Never heard of him before or since.

As for Haye-Harrison, I think Audley landed a jab in round one? That was pretty much it.

and came in weight drained, so was weak from the get go.

it was still boring as hell watching ward punch then hold about 50 times a round. horrible.

He could have avoiding being held had Dawson used his height/reach and fought fleet-footed, but Scully is trying to make Dawson an insider fighter which is negating his strengths. This is what happened in the Hopkins fight, Dawson was fighting flat-footed which allowed Hopkins to time Chad and tie him up to slow down the pace.

I think it was a combination of Dawson being weight drained and his skills declining under Scully.

Dawson had no momentum going into the Ward fight. His performance against Hopkins was probably the worst performance I have ever seen from Chad, he fought terrible and it was only because of his skills and talent that he was able to win...just barley.

Not only did Chad agreed to all of Ward's terms he rushed into the Ward fight fully aware that he showed flaws against Hopkins that he needed to fix. Where was Scully in all of this? Scully should have demanded Chad not to fight Ward, just proves how much of a yes man he is. Ward was a 4-1 favorite for a reason.

Dawson pretty much quit trying after getting dropped. Even with that it's still impressive to go a full round without getting hit by a top level pro. It is rare for a reason.

Dude, the boxing community is delusional about weight cutting. 7 pounds more of a cut is not even close to being a fair reason to discredit complete domination by a smaller boxer. Ward outclassed Chad and would've done the same if it was at 175lbs.

I was kind of thinking the same thing. But I've heard/read that Dawson has trouble making 175, and that he walks around at about 210. Maybe Dawson shouldn't balloon up so much.

I believe Tarver pulled a goose egg for punches landed in the last round of
the first fight with Eric Harding as well.

I invoke the ***** veto rule. If fighter A is fighting fighter B and fighter B is a huge ***** an asterix shall be placed in front of any and all achievements he accomplishes.
