Well that's his first decent win. His next step is to move on and see what he can do against a top 80 type of Heavyweight.
Wilder has a GLASS JAW, and it's gonna get exposed as soon as he fights decent competition. This is exactly why his management is matching him with stiffs for as long as possible.
Bulking up a fighter, even a heavyweight, is not a good idea IMO. Wilder is sort of like Tyson. Both started out with "safe" tomato can type opponents but Tyson started boxing and more or less training full time when he was much younger than Wilder. Wilder just hasn't established himself yet as a significant player, he could go on to greatness, possibly. My idea for his next step would be a fight with Pedro Rodriguez, decently skilled fighter originally from Cuba who has a decent looking record. He was KOed by Magomed Abdusalamov but he also gave Mago a good fight for a while. After his loss vs Abdusalamov he notched up a couple of wins vs. safe opponents. or possibly, Wilder could fight Abdusalamov himself. That has the potential to be a great fight, especially for basic cable. Hell, I'd call in sick to watch that one.
I have to agree with this, deontay has been brutally knocked out in the ammys However he does have brutal power in his right hand, and is quick for his size. I think he can give many people fits, but as you said his weak chin will be his downfall.
Muhammad Ali was KO'd in the ammys - What a glass jaw he had ! And yes, Earl, your pathetic trolling attempt seems to have gone awry.
I agree completely, he is the second coming of Tyson minus the skills, power, chin, speed and ferocity, that is
