Actual Fact #1: No one on ESB every called him a coward. In fact, he was anything but, foolishly trying to go toe-to-toe with Froch, instead of pot-shotting from the outside.

What everyone called him, which he is, is a protected hype-job.

He has soem skills, and could possibly still be a force, but he's got a lot of work to do.

 

He lost against Andrade by actual KO

Not like those dubious "could have gone either way" decision wins

one more thing to the OP - if bute isnt a fraud then why does your thread title mention him in the past tense ?

 

Bute did well against 2nd tier guys, like a washed up Glenn Johnson, Bika, or Miranda

Froch's style is all wrong for Bute, he's just too strong, too aggressive, too fast, in a rematch we would see the same scenario

Its not about him losing to Freoch it is how he did it, he was destroyed outclassed by fighter that lost to Kessler and Ward and that doesnt mean Froch is bad but he is not number 1 in the division and he absolutely destroyed Bute, thats what happens when he didnt fight the best when he steped up to divisions elite fighter he was KTFO:good

Miranda got beaten by virtually every name of the division before Bute accepted to fight him. Same goes for Glencoffe.

 

The rematch in Montreal will be the last fight for Bute.

Froch will hurt him again and then it's over.

 

I'm disgusted by the Canadian fan base and Canadian media more than anything. They gave Bute so much unwarranted hype it was embarrassing. I'm not saying Bute isn't a good fighter because clearly he is, he's just not a great fighter like most of the Canadians were making him out to be.

After the first Andrade fight it was pretty much universally recognized by the hardcore fan base that he isn't that great.

Andrade knocked him senseless, he was out of his feet and to this day I still believe that referee must of been paid off to favor Lucian. There is no way in hell any trained official would have let that fight continue.
