Just rewatched Froch v Bute. . .

It's pretty much accepted that it took far too long for Froch to get on the radar.Tris Dixon,the editor of Boxing News,told me as much when I asked him why Sky hadn't picked him up.Adam Smith had just got the top job and was looking to put it right,which he then went on to do.

And Hoopsman,what do you base your prediction on? Didn't you pick Bute to stop him last time?
Not being shitty,just curious to know what makes people think Bute can win other than loyalty as a fan.

Bute has such a shitty defence and when you look at both Froch and Bute they both fight with there hands down winging in punch's. Froch's chin is pure granite he took some good shots of Bute and didnt flinch..
I have to say i like Froch's style as much as i like to look at Mayweathers skills in amazement ,you cant beat a good old slugger i respect a hard man as much as the tactician. Froch is a beast at super middleweight no question about it. I really think Froch had a shitty night against Ward and i think its alot different outcome in the rematch as for Bute i just see the same outcome unless Bute halts him early..

 

if every boxer had Froch's attitude, boxing would be massive.

I hope there is a rematch. It could make a good story, even if Bute loses again. I Prefer him to lose than to hide.
