I felt bad for him and I applauded him for stepping up.

Like Froch said, they only picked him because they thought Froch was DONE as a fighter. :deal

This. Bute did show a lot of heart. Doesn't get the credit he deserves for that.

I don't try to find any escuse for Bute, but from the very moment of his entrance with no "Where the streets have no name" and no cheering he was some how mentally blocked and look at his face and moovements hearing that disco music and the booings... It looks like a child sent to circus and having the surprise of entering in an opera auditorium. Nothing to take away from Froch, he was calm, relaxed and sure on him. In the end Froch win great and I look forward to see the next fights of both fighters.

**** that... They picked him because they saw something or thought they saw something in him, skills and greatness and they miss to see Froch's will-power and greatness because Bute's technique and style were more flashy but apparently didn't had the substance.

They picked Bute because they thought Froch was done.... is bull**** and you know it.

Guys seems to forget that when his own trainer told him that if he goes into the next round he'll get Knocked Out, he still had the heart and balls to stand up and not quit, the men was still trying to get back into the fight. Even tho at that point at the end of round 4 he'd been taken a good number of bombs from Froch.

They wanted Ward, so when they couldn't get him they gone for the second best thing.

I thought your were talking about "boxing experts" picks at first.

That's because Ward had already proven himself they had no choice to fight Froch because he needed to prove himself on an elite level ..And look he failed with flying colors !

I became Froch fan in the start of 2010 (After the Dirrell fight) after watching his fight vs Pascal

So what. Ward still ducked the fight.

Bute even offered to go to Cali and Ward chickened out :deal

I also disliked Froch a few years ago, but have a world of respect for him now. The man is a throwback, take all comers fighter. The fact that he has a couple of flaws makes his fights even more exciting, IMO.

Boxing needs guys like Froch who will beat most of the best and only lose to a truly elite fighter like Ward.

Ward will be remember as one of the greatest SMW ever.

Bute will be remembered as that canadian/romanian hypejob who got knocked the hell out.

Ducked to fight Dawson ,Ward proved himself by winning the super 6 Bute needed to prove himself by fighting an elite level fighter ..There was no duck considering Bute was never on his level or any other top level at Super Middle!

I find it funny that he chickens out by already beating the likes of Froch and Kessler ,yet Bute has beaten no one ..What was he ducking really

Bute was considered more dangerous than Froch and Dawson.

What had Dawson proved at 168  Hell Dawson got beat up by Pascal and Johnson already a weight class above :nut
