Most of those other types of casuals didn't take to the internet en masse and take a massive crap over every boxing forum on the internet. Only one distinct group of morons did that. It would be like if the US had a top 3 finish at the World Cup and America went soccer crazy, and all the Americans took to every soccer forum to proclaim Landon Donovan and Clint Dempsey co-GOATs. Everyone would laugh at how utterly stupid this entire group of newbie American fans are. That happened to boxing and it is finally starting to go away.

If you are one of the people who think Castillo won the first fight, then for the purpose of this thread count it as 1 victory.

Now, does anybody disagree with the above? Please state why

i am often left dumbfounded as to why people say he cherrypicks

alot of the people who claim him to be one are the same people saying he ducked kostya , ODLH and Mosley

when it gets cleared up why the fight never eventuated atleast once a week

This thread will be empty because haters cannot argue with the fact.
Mayweather has fought top fighters time and time again and deserves the credit he gets

His resume is scarily becoming underrated because of the fact that people don't like his personality, or how he acts outside of the ring. Outside of Pacquiao, you will not find many, if any who's resume currently matches or tops Mayweather's (active boxers). People just love to pick wholes. Look what this boxer didn't do after Mayweather beat him, etc. Naive fans.

His best wins are Corrales, Castillo, and Cotto as probably his best win. Only reason people say he cherrypicks is because his resume doesn`t have crazy wins with ATGs. Please don`t say that Oscar, Mosley, and Marquez are great wins. None of those three at the time he fought them were anything great. Except maybe Oscar who was on a better level then the other two. He`s a great fighter, but when you look at that resume it`s not really anything special. Someone with his talent could of had more in there.

I don`t mind an undefeated record as long as they keep fighting top fighters and continue to be undefeated.:bbb

Well of course Floyd and Pac will always be dogged unless they fight. As for someone not giving credit where credit is due then they dont know ****. Floyd is ridiculous. For anyone to say Floyd isnt one of the greats then they probably dont watch much boxing.

Sadly, Its already to the point where if they fight now, which ever looses will have the excuse they were past their prime. So I almost dont even care about that fight anymore.

Its kinda like Jones Jr and Hopkins 2. They waited way to long for that, to the point almost no one even cared about it.

Of course its gonna hurt their legacy. Of course they are still greats but to not fight each other to settle once and for all who was the best says something pretty bad about their character as a fighter in my opinion.

We should already be talking about May vs Pac 3, even if one fighter won all 3 fights.

The people who run the boxing world really f'd this all up and consequently they may have messed the sport up as a whole.

Your over looking some good fighters man. Castillo, Manfredy for example. Floyd was 23-24 fighting these dudes in their primes. Besides Pac, Floyd as fought every body and in their primes except De La Hoya.

using common sense, 2006 Shane KO's the Baldomir Floyd fought and Pac beats the 2010 Shane.

    154 cotto loses to sergio.
