He agrees to fight garcia. Yes he's fighting the "best" in the division.
But there are still tougher fights at 140. He's probably even get accused of cherry picking garcia.
People would say "Floyd can make 140, Marquez can Make 140. Bradley is a better fighter. Why don't you fight one of those?"


But Manny could say, I don't need to fight them. I'm fighting Garcia. The Best fighter at 140. SO i don't need to fight any of those guys.

People just love to hate Mayweather regardless if they are nuts in their reasoning. The fact of the matter is that Floyd Mayweather has fought either the #1, #2, or #3 guy in each division that he has been in. No Vacant titles. He beat Champs each time.

 

I'm saying you can be number one in a division. but not be the best fighter. Yes I am.

Just like you can win the superbowl and not be the best team.

You can win wimbledon and not be the best player.
