    In my mind.

And if you think the guy who's ranked number one in every division also happens to be the best fighter in that division then go right ahead.

    But I personally don't

Not much of a statement to refute. Baldomir may very well have been rated number one at 147 at the time, but, come on, it's Baldomir . He was only the number one because the 147 division was still fuzzy at the time. Mosley was up fighting at 154, and Margarito was coming through, too. Those two fighters right there were/are better and more dangerous than Baldomir has ever been.

And no, Mosley was not the then best fighter of the division. He was fought in May 2010 - when Pacquiao was the best fighter of the division.

Finally, Cotto is/was not the definite best man at 154. This division was wide open when Mayweather fought him. And it still is. I mean, how can you be the best man of your division when you've had to rely on cherry-picked fights (Foreman and Mayorga) and an unfit, damaged Margarito during your time there?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing Mayweather's resume here. It's still good. Very good. But let's not paint the rosey picture that he's picked the definite best people at the time in those divisions (147 and 154).

Don't bother. I'm getting killed in hear by even suggesting that just cos your number 1 in the division that doesn't mean there aren't much better fighters around.

147: Baldomir, Mosley - avoided margarito, cotto. Didn't fight pacquiao nor was there a fight with paul williams

Mosley will go down as a better welter out of Margarito, Cotto, and himself.

Mayweather fans have refuted that Mayweather never had to fight Cotto Margarito Mosley Williams or Manny Pac at 147 ever, because he beat Baldomir back in 06 when he was number one, so he already beat the best, so he don't need to beat any of those other guys.

In time Floyd will be respected. His pre 140 resume is very ****ing good. He will be remembered as the GOAT at 130. I also love how fighters automatically write him off against anyone from the older eras, so ****ing underrated.

I don't think there was really a number one at 154, too open. He could have took an easier fight than Cotto and fought Canelo though. Cotto fight was the best available at the time and a great financial choice.
