Finally thinking of getting Boxnation in time for this weeked and I have a few questions if anyone can help.

    1) What's the production quality like? I am used to Sky Sports.
    2) Any news on HD?
    3) For the US cards and the European cards do they use their own commentators or use the commentators that is supplied with the international feed?
    4) If they do use their own commentators who are they?
    5) Is there a lot of repeats?
    6) Is it worth £10 a month plus the £10 registration fee? I already pay the best part of £50 oer month for Sky and I know £10 per month isn't alot it all adds up.

    1) Poor in comparison to Sky Sports, but no surprises given budget differences. Promos, sets, highlights etc... basically everything that costs looks a little cheaper.
    2) No news on HD yet - they said they'd upgrade in 2012, but no signs yet.
    3) For US cards they take the US commentary. European language becomes the issue so obviously they use their own.
    4) Bigger nights it's usually John Rawling and Paul Smith as co-commentator. Enzo Mac has done a bit too.
    5) Lots of repeats - they've got a channel to fill and only 1 live show a week + Bunce's boxing hour so the rest is repeat.
    6) For me it's well worth it as I'll watch most fights and I think £10 a month is a fair price for that. Sky aren't showing much at the moment, but I'd pay that for the football anyway. If you're more casual and only likely to watch the bigger fights I'd be hesitant. Sometimes you'll go a good few weeks with small hall and relatively unknown overseas shows and if you're not likely to watch those I wouldn't see the point.

    Harsh replies?

Boxnation is good. Ignore the poor production etc.

It picks up enough international cards to make it a worthwhile investment.

Only thing i wish they would do personally is bring back Andy Kerr as anchor to the bunce show. Great double act, and Kerr would reign Buncey in when he starts off on one.

    All in all good value.

I was mainly pissed off by the HD question! What kind of pathetic needy question is that..?

Have they got HD..? Who gives a ****.

If you are a boxing fan, just subscribe to the channel!

    Simple.

What do people mean by poor production..? Are you talking about the ****ing theme tunes, and special affects on sky..? get a grip for **** sake.

And what is the problem with repeats..? I enjoyed watching the Haye vs Chisora fight again two days ago.

So repeats are a problem..? you needy brats.

Ha ha i pretty much agree with this, special fx and HD being a swaying factor? Nah come on all you need is the channel to show the fight and your sorted surely?

It shows plenty of fights and is well worth a tenner a month mate. If you like your older fights, Benn, Eubank, Naz and such then it has plenty of that too. It is what it is, a boxing channel.

I paid for Sky Sports for years, mostly for the boxing and a bit of football that due to work, getting older, and thinking most of the players are twats I just watched less and less.

I killed Sky Sports and got Boxnation.

    In answer to your questions

    1. Production quality is good for the money you pay.
    2. I thought I saw in another thread a few weeks back that HD is on the cards, but not imminent. Is it truly a deal-breaker for you? If so, you're weird.
    3. As far as I've seen own commentators for every production.
    4. Various presenters - Jim Rosenthal fronts show piece fights, bunce, paul smith, maccarinelli etc
    5. Sure there are - it's boxing every day from 1 pm so plenty of thrown together productions such as "THIS WAS JANUARY" with... fights from January cobbled together etc.
    6. 10 per month worth it? Well, yes. It's much cheaper than sky, for a start, I think it's probably only going to get 'bigger' in the sense of increased subscribers generating more flow (thus better cards more frequently). Frankly, if 10 a month is a problem for you then you're probably a student or have better things to spend the ten quid on. Sky, on the other hand, is extortionate if you have a film channel and a couple of sports channels.

    Hope helps! :)

It's worth the money, some months are really slow, but on the whole it's worth the change.
