CC is going to dance on him, and make it hard for our peg-legged Champion.

After the fight he'll take Condit out.

I think Condit might beat him tbh.

  5. Of course. George "Let's Not Rush" St. Pierre doesn't finish anyone off.

It'll be a ****ing boring fight again. Unless Condit (hopefully) knocks him out.

Nop...he doesn't have the ground game for a sub against Condit IMO and forget about GSP knocking Condit out....

I'm not even confident that he wins, let alone finishes.

Yeah he should do. But there are a lot of intangibles. And I reckon people are sleeping on Condit - he's an intelligent fighter and that will help him a lot. If GSP is rusty (as he MUST be) and doesn't have full confidence in his knee (which is VERY possible), Carlos can make it a tough night for him. I would call Condit one of his toughest fights even without the layoff. :conf

He won't finish CC. He'll probably dominate and look like GSP of old for the first 2 1/2 rounds. After that I think he'll gas. Really is gutsy to come straight back and fight the best without a tune up.

Condit can handle himself standing and if GSP takes it to the ground I dont' expect a huge amount of fight stopping attempts by GSP as Condit has a very active guard.

CC would be a tough fight even before the injury. GSP hasn't fought in about a 1 1/2. He is coming back and facing the #1 contender right off the bat.

I think he would have done better to have a tune up fight first, but I don't think Dana really cares about that. If GSP wins, great. If GSP loses, even BETTER because then they can hype the hell out of the rematch and get even more money.
