so any news on the 2nd negotiations was supposed to be on gag order until the official announcement. this time, oscar could not hide his satisfaction with the good news that the fight was really closed to being made with greenburg of HBO negotiating with TR and al haymon.

but after this oscar announcement, floyd suddenly said that he wanst to take his vacation siting that he has no urge to fight at the time. this force oscar to retract his earlier comment and even to the point of lying that he was just misquoted. schaefer even said that arum was lying only to be called by greenburg himself and announcing that the fight was indeed close to being made and greenburg was wondering why floyd suddenly doesn't want to fight anymore.
