Is Wlad top 5 heavyweight of all time

    maybe top 10 if he sticks around long enough.never top 5 no matter what he does from now on.

    sometimes it isn't about who is the best but more so about who is most recongnizable... it has been a constant theme in boxing.

    why not, he would have accomplished more then any heavyweight in history. longest run fighting top compitition (even though not all are considered the best... some wins like mormek or wach don't do much for legacy but every champ had those).

    Wlad doesn't have his Forman... or his tyson but he dominated during his reign with an iron fist... he did have early loses.

    fair point but do you really rank him higher than ali frasier marciano lewis tyson foreman? do you think he would be so dominant in past eras? i dont:good

    Those guys are the pioneers of the sport and they desrve to be respected and ranked highly, but that being said Wlad would be a tough fight for all of them and i don't believe any of them would have had as much sucess as wlad did if they were fighting today in the current devision. i think forman would have lost to byrd, ali would have strugled with haye, tyson would have had some challanges.

    i'll be honest i rate LL as the number 1 heavyweight of all time H2H he is number one resume he is top 5.

    anyways each person is entitled to their opinion.

    Just curious, but what makes you say that?

    Haye's fast but he's not faster then Ali. Haye can crack but do you think he hits harder then some of the fighters that Ali fought? Haye has decent movement but not as good as Ali (not nearly if you ask me). It's not like Haye is a superbly defensive fighter either and he's not the offensive machine that some make him out to be. I just don't see a prime Ali struggling with David Haye.

    :lol: WOW . He has had a better and more dominant title stint then anyone in history . I wonder if anyone ever does any research on the heavyweight devision around here . Because the past is so GROSSLY overrated its beyond rediculous .:rofl
