The meeting paved the way to set the stage for the first meeting with Roger Mayweather and Michael Koncz at the Mandalay Bay Casino. Joseph Jackson, Donny Rucker, Roger Mayweather and Michael Koncz broke the ice between the two fighter camps. Jeff Mayweather and Roger Mayweather were instrumental in bringing Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Michael Koncz together to discuss crucial issues pertaining the proposed fight.

Conversation between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Michael Koncz at the gym meeting was a confirmation by both camps to move forward with negotiations after Falcon Hawk Entertainment assured through its investors to work along side with Bob Arum’s Top Rank and Mayweather Promotions to bring the successful Welterweight Fight of the Century.

Further arrangements by the Falcon Hawk Entertainment and the meeting by Joseph Jackson and Floyd Mayweather Jr. during the morning of the Thanksgiving Day and the day after, were cordial and set the avenue for warm and unified working relationship with Bob Arum and Manny Pacquiao’s camp. Moreover, Joseph Jackson niece, Ms. Shantel Jackson is Floyd’s Mayweather’s fiancée that brings goodwill and harmony to the group.

Other entities related to Joseph Jackson and Donny Rucker include Premier Event Management and Chuck Sullivan which have contributed in generating investors from New York as further backing.

it was perfect except that floyd and his team has gone on the media route to blast pac of using PEDs publicly. you don't negotiate in good faith when you are talking behind the back of your business partner. the first draft of the contract doesn't contain this extra testing that floyd wants not after their media propaganda. and pac did not actually rejected the extra test. he would get tested randomly until the day and after the fight with urine and a cut-off of 24 days with blood. floyd can't accept that and he want's a 14 days cut-off. it's a bit silly but they could have agreed on the 19 days blood cut-off. they could test immediately after the fight. they still got to be tested with urine all through out which is the actual method that catches the offenders.

but all of these does not matter now since we all know that testing is not really floyd's issue after pac has conceded the cut-off. floyd has made several excuses and has moved the goalposts each time.

 

Oh yeah, that was just on top of the other excuses.

There were other excuses, like the cut is too bad, even though they were going to fight Marquez, and Bob saying he would need Floyd to move his jail sentence back to July even though Floyd already had it moved so he and Pac could fight in May atsch :smoke

 

pac said it himself that he was ok with May, floyd's preferred date. remember that floyd acted that he anted the fight until floyd said he doesn't want to give any PPV share to pacquiao? what kind of **** offer is that? all the while, his team has been negotiating with cotto and they gave him a PPV upside.
