http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=51748&cat=boxer should be a great fight! but why in melbourne? perth or auckland surely?
Halfway between NZ & Perth... Vic Government or venue put forward a great deal I imagine ot hold it in Melbourne. Plenty of reasons why places are chosen, for the fans its disappointing but they will still get a big crowd. Melbourne fight fans support big fights.
it's sad how little support green receives from actual fight fans, when you consider how much he has done for the sport in this country
Yes your right. He has really put racism on the map and showed how to get paid for getting medically unfit fighters in the ring....only to then refer to them as k9s.:good
mundine is australian sports sports worst example, then comes the bloke that kod kicket.....then daylight to the brigs debacle....
Did ya see him flince and not know what to say when they brought up him gambling and he thought they were referring to him betting on his own fights?
They knew the fight would sell really well in Melbourne and they would be able to get a heap of PPV buys from W.A. So far they've sold 6 thousand seats (which is more than challenge stadium holds) with all the tables sold. They also picked up a big sponsor down here as well so its looking like a good decision to hold the fight in Melbourne. I'd be surprised if they didn't get at least 8 thousand to the fight which would be great turnout.
Melbourne has a decent amount of Kiwis there too, besides it's kinda neutral to either Auckland or Perth, sort of..
You should be a psychologist mate, first he's racist for putting the word petrol and mundine in the same sentence and now he's flinching when they mention gambling.
