Id like to Anderson Silva to face some top contenders if hes not interested in fighting Jones but I think he will coast through to end of his career to protect his legacy.
Yes and yes. I also stand by my opinion that Silva beats St Pierre, and Jones beats Silva. It's one great guy vs an equally great smaller guy in both cases, me thinks.
Jones has ragdolled pretty much everyone he's fought. Who has he failed to take down or keep on the ground? :conf :hat
Of course not, how silly of me to suggest he was, it's not like he won a PRIDE championship or anything at that weight
It would be huge but with Jones not fighting Sonnen for a few months and Silva possibly agreeing to fight GSP or someone else by then I fear it may keep getting delayed like Silva vs GSP has.
Good to see you back out of hiding Will :hi: You must have taken Chael's 2nd loss to Spider even harder than the Ist.
This he's done it before when wanting to quit to fight RJJ and playing hardball with the second Sonnen fight. He has the leverage so why not use it
You might want to look at his impressive resume at 183lbs in Pride. He was a can denter. He had his hands full with a bunch of undersized Japanese fighters. He also lost to Kazuo Misaki. He's had two "good" wins at middleweight, a young Palhares, and Bisping. Other than that he's fought very competitive fights against guys that would have trouble making 170.
