Mayweather is well known in the UK to be fair, mainly because of his fight with Hatton which was the largest PPV fight ever here. Since then he regularly comes over to promote his fight and got something like 6000 people turn up to an open workout.
Floyd is known in Britain though, I mean they saw his fight with Hatton obviously. As far as Germany is concerned, Floyd probably ain't that popular there but I would bet more people there know of him than they do any NFL player, mainly cause there's more boxing fans there than there is NFL fans and Floyd is the face of boxing.
