accomplishing what no one has accomplished before... and you don't see the greatness... ok then who else won titles in 10 divison (i think it was 10)... how many beat barrera and morrales in their prime... along with over a dozen of other top fighers.
Still waiting for a logical analysis that doesn't resort to insults and relies on connecting thoughts to create an idea. Here's what I'm saying: Manny's whole claim-to-fame began when ventured to WW. Since then he's done nothing but avoid legitimate risks while contrarily beating up on over-the-hill fighters who are coming off career losses or consecutive poor outings (always including at least one loss). Additionally, his fights frequently involve catch weights. When he has chosen to step up his competition (including a failed demolition project against JMM @ 38 years old), he's looked extremely average considering his opponents age/injuries. So, explain again, using words, not whining, why Manny is even worthy of the HOF. Oh, and did I mention that his so-called "accomplishments" are not without controversy. There also exists a chance (I think a good one) that Manny's been juicing during his success.
So your saying he fought Barrera coming of a huge Loss oh wait a minute. Barrera record from 2001 went Naseem Hamed WON UD Enrique Sanchez WON RTD 6 Erik Morales WON UD Johhny Tapia WON UD Kevin Kelley WON KO 4 Manny Pacquiao LOST TKO 11 Then after he went on a 6 fight win streak until finally Losing some 4 years after losing to Pac in 2003. Should I take you to school on other Opponents or are we OK with this first lesson on Boxing......
Manny's claim-to-fame occurred when he moved up in weight. He was a great fighter at the lower classes, no doubt about it. But he wasn't even close to a household name nor would he ever been if he hadn't moved up in weight and fought DLH. That's when he became Manny the celebrity. I did not intially dismiss his accomplishments at the lower weights until his move into the upper classes. He dug himself in controversies of steroids and PEDs and so unfortunately all of his accomplishments must be viewed with an asterisk, including his tremendous work at/around featherweight and jr lightweight.
Most if not all of SRL's biggest wins are all from controversy, hell he might as well have invented the word, yet almost everyone considers him a top 20 ATG. ^^^ The answer here, is the same answer that regards to Pac.
Lesson 2. Let me see was it Oscar Dela Hoya who wasx the 6/1 Underdog in there fight or was it Manny. It was Manny and out of 20 Boxing Experts asked by Ring magazine before the fight who would win 2 chose Manny. Now because of what we witnessed and Mayweather slander every other fan has taken away that win by Manny as he was Juicing. But never really having any evidence or unlike Lance Armstrong people in Manny's camp saying he was Juicing nor him testing positive at all. So some how Manny lost credit for this win due to Slander and due to Dela Hoya being weight drained but as Oscar had said in the past he thought he felt good going into the fight didnt feel to weight drained and was punching with decent enough power. We all witnessed the fight and Im the first to say Oscar did not look right but even so I thought Manny was lightning and fought with all the right angles and did everything he could do to win to stop the nah sayers who had him a 6/1 Under dog.
Pacquiao is def an ATG. Insane weight jumping and effectiveness throughout. Particular great runs at 122 and 140-47. 10 fights against the legendary Mexican trio. Time spent as P4P king (2008-2009/10).
Another ***** ALT. it's pretty slow for the *****s now that floyd is currently on his vacation # 3567 once again.
his post 130 resume sucks besides cotto but he's without a doubt a legit ATG. you don't whup a still good barrera and morales then move up 3 weight clases to kick cotto's ass if you ain't great
WOT Have you seen his first fight with Barrera? Do a little research before making stupid threads like this.
