If you want to best Vitali you have to be able to take his punches. Look at the amount of punishment both Byrd and Lewis took before they were able to stop Vitali. If Haye believes he can just run around and potshot form the outside and win this then he's badly mistaken.
the toe...you knew since like round 3 he was ready to say it cause he knew it was over i think your right i think Haye thought his power and speed would equal a win the man had no plan and no answer...Haye underestimated Wlad's speed and skills and probably his chin Wlads opponents all seem to think he has a soft chin and all they gotta do is land, i dont think they realize how fast he is and how well he moves Wlad's foot work vs Haye was great, Haye couldnt touch him
Chisora fought Vitali and Haye back to back in quick succession. Vitali has looked poor for 2-3 years now, certainly nothing suggests he would beat Haye
i just dont see what Haye does that beats Vitali i dont think you can beat Vitali running around the ring throwing 10 punches a round I also think unlike Wlad, Vitali will step in and make Haye pay for his wide missing lunges I mean I think Vitali would have to look awful to lose and that would still be a stretch cause Haye doesnt force the action Chisora was difficult because he took it to Vitali, put his gloves up and came forward Haye is not going to do that
The way Vitali played with Adamek, you think Haye could do that? Haye would be at best even money in that fight.
Here's hoping Vitali and Haye never fight fella. Would hate to see another convenient imaginary death in your family post fight you pure undiluted fud.
Ah, the old triangle theory. Styles make fights, obviously. Foreman did better against Frazier and Norton than Ali did. How did Ali-Foreman go? Pavlik did a lot better against Taylor than Hopkins did, how did Pavlik-Hopkins go? Tyson did way better than Buster Douglas did against Tony Tucker, but then how did Douglas-Tyson go? I could go all day with these examples of how the triangle theory means very little. Chisora is much closer to Haye's height than Vitali is, and we all know that Vitali uses his height very well. No denying that Haye landed a superb left hook that Chisora walked into in the 5th, but the fact is that Vitali landed 84 punches on Chisora in 5 rounds, and Haye landed 63 on him( like stated, Haye did put Chisora away and Vitali did not. Also, Chisora didnt look to be in as good of shape vs. Haye as he was against Vitali. He was 6 pounds heavier. I am not saying Haye has no chance, Im just stating that comparing the Chisora fights is not a great measuring stick by any stretch.
You got it backwards, Vitali is the favorite by default until you can find something to suggest that Haye would beat him. And like I said, I like Haye (Valuev and Wlad fights notwithstanding).
Oh Vitali will be bookies favourite and probably polls on here will have him favourite but he isn't currently the better fighter as will be proven if they don't duck it.
