technically he wasnt the best but he always got the job done. i think people OVERESTIMATE the height size advantage these days. ali knocked all the big men out in his day, even guys who had never been stopped

Well, celebrate him if you will but I think I read somewhere that Tunney Hunsaker had him out on his feet before finally following through on the dive he'd promised to take.

Smoke and mirrors, smoke and mirrors.

Cassius Clay/Muhammad Ali was a 'great professional boxer'

    The Muslim Faith prevents fighting.

    United States Marines 'fight'.

You will never confuse Cassius Clay/Muhammad Ali with a 'Fighting Marine'.

Okay, I'm caught up now. If I've learned anything from the Classic forum, it's that Muhammad Ali's actual record should read something like 40 wins with 21 losses. Including a loss to Jimmy Young, who had an official record of 34 wins, 19 losses, 2 draws, and 1 no contest. The so called "Greatest" has no business losing to a guy with a record like that. However, Jimmy Young's ACTUAL record should read something like 53 wins, 2 losses, and one disqualification. So, good win for Ali there, if it was an actual win, but it's not. In conclusion, Jimmy Young is The Greatest.

I think Muhammad Ali was 'very lucky' to get a Draw with the Japanese Wrestler.

At least it was a 'high quality promotion'.

At least 'The Greatest' didn't disgrace the 'crown'.

Antonio Inoki, here mocking to the camera with a Tiger-masked Muhammad Ali.
