....when a win over a distracted fighter who was facing jail time for spousal abuse and who got KO'd by casamayor , castillo , and lost to joshua clottey is unanimously considered his " best win " ?

It's pretty badass that he took on the RING #5 P4P at his division when he was undefeated and on a terror which nobody wanted a piece of.

Castillo X2, Genaro, Hatton, Cotto; all elite victories as well...

floyd was supposed to be too small for undefeated Corrales

    That was a great win

    Incorrect. Corrales was slightly favored.

I'm confused. Floyd, an undefeated fighter, was recently "distracted" (as he was facing jail time for spousal abuse) yet he dominated the (at the time) #1 JMW in the world. :think

So what exactly are you trying to say?

Nobody wants to bring that up when it comes to Floyd, facts like that are only used to discredit him.

Ok now lets put this in perspective

1.. Castillo That was really one win one loss for Floyd
2.. Genaro Genaro was not the Genaro of old he'd begun to slip
3.. Hatton It took a tag team of Floyd & Joe Cortez to beat Hatton
4 Cotto Was shot been better if they'd fought a few years earlier

I still believe Floyd is the biggest waste of incredible boxing talent EVER!!!

Oh, bring up Clottey eh? Ali sucks then. He lost to Berbick. Ali sucks...

    1. Mayweather has only been the underdog in one fight; Genaro.

    2. Every fighter is "distracted" by something. Biggest irrelevant excuse ever.

His five fights before entering the Mayweather fight- all fought at 130 pounds. All fighters struggle to make weight. "Corrales is drained" is based on, what? What Lampley opined and what his team said after the one sided defeat?

    Suuuuuuuuuuuure...

Castillo he is 2-0 against. I have no problems with a draw or JLC by 1 point, but the consensus on this fight is far closer to 50/50 than 75/25, therefore, I honor the decision completely.

Genaro was still undefeated at 130. Still the lineal champion at 130. Entered as the betting favorite.

Tag team of Floyd and Cortez? Ok, you lost my respect. If you believe the outcome of that fight was changed because Cortez was the ref than you are a delusional crazy fanboy of Hatton or against Floyd, one or the other.

I agree with the last statement regarding waste of talent.
