What's your point?

It seems to be you don't like anyone other than Wlad Klitschko because my comments about him were valid. And I do have him breaking into the top 10, I gather you have him as being the greatest of all time.

 

H2H I'd put both Holmes and Wlad much higher than you did. My comments weren't about H2h they were part of a reply about when I think Holmes ranks higher than Wlad even though there title defense records may be similar.

Wlad's got 3 losses, but he's also taken more risks matchmaking-wise than Holmes did in his title reign. Larry never unified, dropped his title rather than defend against a very deserving contender (which is worse than not fighting your own brother), and never rematched his closest foes , like 'Spoon, who certainly earned one. Can't point out the warts in Wlad while accenting the positive aspects of the others. It's gotta be good vs good or bad vs bad for fair comparisons.

Everyone's got their own ranking criteria, but, I don't put too much emphasis on H2H because at the highest levels, many of these guys could fight each other 10 times and each would win some. Nobody gets in these kinds of discussions without being damn good. It's too subjective for me to split hairs confidently, which is why accomplishments carry more weight in my book.

When it's all through, I think it'll be Ali, Louis, Wlad, and Holmes as having the top 4 overall title reigns in terms of length and quality. Ali took out a ton of top contenders and has signature wins, as does Joe. Wlad and Holmes have the former, not so much with the signature historical wins.

Best post on this subject. happy Wlad's awesome title reign speaks for itself. Even U.S.A. based Ring Magazine has had Wlad a top-ten P4P'er for years now.

 

How isn't Wlad tough?(Relative to Vitali)
After his last loss everybody gave up on him and told him to retire even Vitali told him so.
He didn't retire and is now the dominant force in the whole division.

He did the opposite what him was told and he came back much stronger than ever, to say Vitali is far superior in spirit is just wrong.
Even if Vitali is superior in spirit (and I don't think he is) he isn't far superior.
It's just a little bit at best.

 

Wlad has dominated this era, his legacy will be judged on how well his opposition do once Wlad has retired. eg. If Haye dominates HW, Wlad will be very highly rated.

I dont know about top 5 for Wlad but he would be a strong contender for top 10 if he retired now.

 

Easily Top15.

Arguably Top10 HW of all time.

I see Wlad between #8 and #13.

It will be tough entering the Top5.
