On Sky re-run, this is not the performance of an elite level boxer. Yep.

He has a provisional re match with Froch next and it is clear on this performance that his handlers will avoid that one.

Full confidence in saying that Froch goes right through him.

There are some fighters that certain Boxers should avoid at all costs if their smart, this is one of those cases.

Thought Bute was absolutely dreadful. Froch will go through him for a short cut if the rematch happens, which I doubt now.

Just finished watching it and Froch would walk through him inside 5 rounds in a rematch.

However, I dont expect Bute to want any part of a rematch. If I was his manager I would duck Froch and fight at a lower level to make some cash before retiring. There is nothing to be gained from getting KTFO again.

This guy will never be an elite fighter, Grachev was a 12-0 prospect, 12-0!!!, thats like Groves or Degale fighting Froch or Ward...do you know what would happen to those guys, at this stage...Bute was a guy who was a world champion with 9 DEFENSES...he's done

But at least there are some pay cheques left for him...1) FROCH tko/UD cheque. 2) Pascal KO cheque. 3) Ward UD/tko11 cheque.

If interbox don't love him...it's cash out time...however I think he may do better in the rematch...like Taylor vs Pavlik 2.

He was amazing in round 12, really quality stuff from Bute. Maybe he regained some confidence in that round, or maybe it was simply that he knew there were no more rounds after that so he wasn't as scared.

Not really. Grachev got desparate and fell apart. Started throwing shots from out of range and Bute just picked him off. He let himself be a punchbag. Grachev gave him the last round on a platter. The best of the division wouldn't crumble like that.

Only postive ponit is that Bute gain is confidence at the end of the fight , you could see he was relief that he could take some punches.

I can't say Bute is ruined even after last night fight because i can understand all the doubts he had in mind but there's no way he should face Froch right now. He should get another fight with his full confidence and start throwing combo again.

he literally got schooled for 6rounds by a novice who only had 1 gameplan and his face was a mess at the end of the fight

butes defence from now until the rest of his career will always be his downfall, you cannot fight with that stance if you dont have the ability to dodge the simplest of advances

Well done Flashy.Who'd have thought you would be the voice of reason after all this time?

He's telling it exactly like it is.Bute is a B level fighter and should stay well away from the likes of Froch.
I've always praised the loyalty of his fans and he brought a lot of new fans to the sport, but if they're happy for him to stay in the Bell centre and fight average opponents then they should ask themselves if they're really getting their money's worth.

It's till the best boxe we can get here with Bute and Pascal , i won't stop to back up the local scene no mather what , if we want a future we need to put some money in it so the promotors know it worth it!

Flashy did the exact same thing right after Froch-Bute then he came back 2 weeks after with his usual delusion. We're starting to know him now. :dead

I mean there's no problem in supporting a fighter but talking nonsense really makes me angry. You'll never see me claim Arthur Abraham can beat the **** out of Andre Ward for example. :yep

As I said in the RbR thread, there are two ways to support a fighter : the way guys like you, Cloud, Laffie & Decebal do, and the way Turbotime, Flashy KO, BeastsideBoxing and the others do. Personally I can't stand the second group while I respect the hell out of the first one.
