Grachev was a though opponent, he put a lot of pressure on me. Overall I'm happy of how I've performed, after the fight against Froch. I feel liberated, this is the real Bute. I want the rematch, I hope he wins his next fight so we can face each other again.

Grachev: I want Bute again, in San Francisco. I can fight against anybody even those from SuperSix.

The rest is down in Romanian. Use google translation.

If Bute thinks the performance last night showed he was liberated, he is deluded, if anything he showed that he is shackled by the mental scars of being brutally KTFO.

I guess atleast he gets the chance to avenge his only loss, can only see the same result again in a rematch.

Bute need at least another fight before just thinking about facing Froch.

At least we saw Bute angry in the 12th round , but not 1 combo in the fight.

I think Bute is relief that he can get hit even if he froze a couples of time.

Hope they don't put him with Froch on his next fight though

He was an absolute joke, and if any of the hype campaigners want to pretend that was some sort of return to form, then bash on.
I would've been disgusted if I'd paid for ringside seats last night.I expected a first class performance from Bute but it seems I was right when I suggested that he might never be the same after Carl "daddied" him.
I can remember a few people ridiculing my suggestion as well.

To be fair mate,Froch is getting on and can't wait around for ever.I think Bute would do well to forget about Froch and try and get Abraham. And I would give AA a chance too.

Same interview a lot more detailed:

"I'm very, very happy. It was a though fight, a strong opponent, aggressive who hits well with both arms. Overall I've controlled the fight, It was a hard earned victory, beautiful. After the defeat against Carl Froch I can say that Lucian Bute is back in business. If I would have lost this fight It would have very hard to be able to get back up. After this great victory, I'm happy. I've regain my confidence, I needed a 12 rounds fight. I want the rematch against Froch, especially because I wasn't myself in Nottingham. I've shown I can receive hard shots to, and came back into the fight.

Some time after the Bute-Froch fight and Abraham-Stieglitz fight there was a thread regarding who would win in a Bute-Abraham fight. At first my initial thought was, Bute still has this pretty easy....but after last night....:think

Agree with you , but sadly Bute don't think this way and really want that revenge , If Bute fight Froch like he fought Grachev , it will be even worst then the first fight!

I still think Bute can get a belt if he come back to his old style. It sure wasn't easy for him to do a small training camp with all the doubts Froch put in his mind. Now at least he's relief and can start on a new base , But he will need 1 or 2 fights before he's back to what he was ....if he can!

It was a ****ing joke and if you believe that was some sort of acceptable performance then you need to up the meds.
This wasn't about making sure that he got through 12 rounds without getting sparkled,it was about using five or six rounds to get your confidence back, then showing your fans that their loyalty is well placed and appreciated.
Grachev was a limited plodder who pushed your boy all the way.A minute and a half of good action?
    I pissed my pants laughing.
