    Britain is pretty **** tbh when you compare us to mexico etc

    As already mentioned Puerto Rico and Panama have an unreal list of world champs P4P, mostly at the lower weights. Would love to know their secret to producing that number of quality fighters.

    The mexican's have had it harder and it shows in their fighters.

    yup they are thrown in at the deep end early on and only the very best rise to the top

    In all fairness, the population of Mexico is about double the population of Britain.

    Agreed they dont compare really not to mention Welsh champs actually traverse a longer period when boxing was not as known/popular sport in PR or Panama. The majority PR and Panamanian fighters are from 1950's onwards.

    Nice point there mate when you consider it's about 60 miles from Newport to Swansea and about a 15 mile arch to the north to include Merthyr Tydfil & the Rhondda Valley .the M4 corridor and few points north has produced a decent number of Champs .

    not sure about champs but P4P toughest country has to be Ghana, they are teak-tough, and from the same country as Azumah Nelson Johnny
