That's a good point, but there have been less than stellar moments in his career (most notably his absences) in which his fans have stuck by him.

    Current or past fighter?

Boxing's most loyal fans of a fighter? Or a fighter's most loyal boxing fans?

Bandwagoning nuthuggers or appreciative critics through thick and thin?

The Cotto fans and Puerto Rican fans in general are as loyal as they come. There are of course all the "_PR" and "boricua" accts that show up before fights and talk an insane amount of crap then vanish after he loses. They're all still fairly behind JuanMa too, whereas an American fanbase would be lighting him up.

You got to hand it to the *******s too, they're as loyal as they come. Whatever the Filipino fighter says/does/wants is instantly correct and they will spam/distort/lie to protect that ideal. They're a hive mind incapable of independent thought or critical analysis. They find out the daily agenda on philboxing and go around shitting up every other boxing forum with whatever crap they're circlejerking about today.

I think Jones' fans are pretty loyal even through his stubbornness to stay in the game for this long

Morales fans defended him through the PED thang and Margarito still somehow has some fans....

Polish and Mexican fans are loyal, I would say.
