Maybe he should naturalize, make it more official his Twitter is now riddled with Mexican support. Lara siding with the money... Haha he knows Mexicans support USA boxing number 1.

one of his biggest if not the most meaningful fight of his career and he straight up disowns Cuba ans wears the colors of his superiors lol

I'm Cuban, and I've been following Lara since he was in the amateurs, I see nothing wrong with this.

And why should you? Its a given fact that Cubans in America don't support Cuban fighters, so why not try to market to the audience that does and will support you?

I think its a good move by Lara and his promotional team.

At least he got his trunks correct. Else that would have been really embarrassing.

Don't help Bob Arum with his lies bro , that's a myth Arum came up with at the begining of Gamboa's career so he could protect his cash cows . Cubans DO support their fighters but our boxers are beign badly promoted on purpose . Their bouts are always staged OUTSIDE Florida for a reason . Good move by Lara btw . Peace .

...and why should a man like Lara's talent choose to remain a tool to promote Castro's fiefdom?

I have absolutely no problem with this. He can enter the ring eating taco and singing a mariachi .
Everything I want it's to see him fight and win.He is not disrespecting Cuba in any sense.I see his Cuban flag on his short.
If he can get the support of Mexicans, good for him.
