Who were some boxers that you can think of that were very well educated in terms of academic achievement? Basically guys that were able to finish school and earn their college degree.

Yeah, both Klitschkos are well known to have degrees. I believe Juan Diaz has a J.D. Heavyweight contender Seth Mitchell and fringe(pretty fringe)-contender Chazz Witherspoon both have a college degree. I believe Roland LaStarza had some amount of college experience but I don't think he finished? Prospect Monk Foreman (George III) I believe was strongly advised and guided into college education before becoming a professional fighter. And, just based solely on a hunch, the way Amir Khan speaks, I assume he's got a degree in physics.

Tunney read a good bit...but had no formal education...as far as just natural smarts, i am sure many fighters had them.

as for mcneeley the wikipedia actually says its a BA degree, but it doesnt have a citation.

if you go on many boxers of todays facebook pages you will find that a high percentage have graduated from "The School of Hard Knocks" and "Life University" where some have gotten "PhDs"....most of these holders of Phds seem to have a philsophy that one should "stop snitching"

Fun Fact: There actually is a school named Life University. It's a school for chiropractors in GA with a pretty solid rugby program.
