He'd still have the loss against Peterson.

He would have made it out of the first round of the Prescott fight, but he might not have survived the full 12 rounds -- his defence was even worse back then, and he was standing toe to toe. He would have got knocked out at some point.

He probably would have beaten Garcia, although it would have still been a tough fight.

The Peterson fight to me is particularly damning, the way he found a way to lose was shocking.

He just unravelled round by round, under not the greatest pressure in all honesty.

And the pushing.... despite being warned several times he carried on doing it, then was deducted, then carried on again. Spastic.

Shagging David Coulthard doesn't help things.

Put down once against Taylor! and he got straight back up to win. He didn't fold in half like your mate Khan did against Prescott.

Saying that I don't think Froch is particularly 'iron chinned'.

He's just excellent at shrugging off shots and recovering once he's stunned..... kinda like JMM.

I've little doubt that there's a handful of super middles throught the division's history who are capable (not saying they would) of getting him out of there.

Certainly Roy Jones, then you're looking at guys like James Toney, Michael Watson, Nigel Benn.... Kessler at his absolute best perhaps.

If you take out Kotelnik and Paulie for being totally safe then you'll see he's never made any progress.
