We assume that they are not allowed 6 months to train in a modern camp..anyhow, fighters from back when who could do the the best in todays mma world. Would it be some real old school boxers, the guys who wrestled a good bit in camp? (dempsey, Jeffries ect) would it be some mauy thai guys...of course we have the Vale tudo guy that i dont know about but who did early mma style fights? how about some of the guys in Japan? Speaking of boxers, some guy back in the day won a gold medel at wrestling and went on to fight floyd patterson. would it be on of the gracies? oh, also for Stoo, before you respond to this post in a witty and responsive way, let me first ask you...what is your greatest sexual fantasy? what would you love to happen? Who would you most like to get "off" with?

There was a big and tough Sumo-wrestler called Raiden in the beginning of the nineteenth century. He was known to rough up his opposition very much. This may be the reason why he never became grand champion, but remained in the second rank ozeki for seventeen years. Men like Dempsey and especially Jeffries come to mind, as johnstown already mentioned above. I think of some Okinawan karate-masters, too (Choki Motobu and others).
