I just rewatched the fight. I respect the man, but Anber's card was pure garbage. Bute looked just a tad less **** than I thought. On the other hand round 12 was less awesome than I recalled. He basically did nothing until the middle of the round. I agree with beast, he should fight Cloud next. Lucian doesn't have the luxury of taking an "easy" tune up at this point.
Does any decent human being strongly dislike Bute? Not even past and potential opponents dislike him, right?

Yes he did , Pascal isn't as bad has people want him to look. He love boxing and will defend Quebec boxing scene , he did said yesterday that his opponent fot the December 14th is better then Grachev technicaly but that Grachev is probably stronger physically.
If he underperforms in the next tune-up (if this is the case), then I highly doubt a Froch fight would occur. The fact that Bute defended and travelled gave Bute's team a lot of bargaining options.
Just heard Joe an Enzo Calzaghe on Talksport, Joe said he seen Butes fight at the weekend, he reckoned Bute looks almost shot. Thats shot not ****.
Froch should do his own thing... Take the big fights and continue his life until the time comes. Froch thinks he could probably beat bute with a 3 day notice so I don't really see a big problem in all this. Huge paycheck awaits him. No one is asking him to wait an eternity... 1 more tune up is not a huge deal here especially if Bute's team chooses someone competitive and with a name.
