I'll pick Lemieux to lay Macklin out, but I don't think this is the opponent being eluded to. More likely to be Kermit Cintron.

    David Lemieux in co-feature

Relentless slugger David Lemieux (27-2-1, 26 KOs), of Laval, fights a middleweight opponent to soon be announced in the 10-round co-feature. We already know who he is but a contracts administration is preventing GYM to disclose his name for the moment. A hint: he has fought over a 10 rounds fight against universally acclaimed middleweight champion Sergio “Maravilla” Martinez. Lemieux is a Montreal fan-favorite because of he is a powerful, offensive-minded fighter without compromise.

    It ain't Macklin...forget it.

I assume those 2 losses of Lemieux's have gained him some valuable experience. He's still only 23 so theoretically not even in his physical prime. He can still learn.

Did you see Macklin against Varon? You can't be that easy to hit against Lemieux.

No it will be Albert Ayrapetyan who will face Lemieux in December.

Macklin has **** poor defense .. It'll be interesting to see how he takes Lemieux's punches. If he can handle the power he can easily outwork Lemieux.

****ing great match up nonetheless. Rumors are if Miranda wins against some youngin on the undercard he gets a crack at Pascal.

Macklin's about to have nose surgery so it's probably not him. Wouldn't be surprised if it's Ayrapetyan instead.

Here's the reference to Martinez regarding his upcoming opponent. It was just a tease on the front page.... Lemieux ain't ready yet for Macklin.

Neither have great cardio and the edge in power has to go to Lemieux. Both are hittable, too.

I'm favoring Macklin by UD or late stoppage but wouldn't rule out Lemieux putting him away in the first six.

This would be a pretty damn good matchup, and a good oppurtunity by both fighters.

I am suprised to see so many writing DL off so easily against Mack....

I hope this fights get made, and I hope Mack can put a beatdown on D.L, but I think its a dangerous fight for him as well.

    Would be very exciting.

For ****'s sakes people, take Lemieux's balls out of your mouth.

Macklin will destroy Lemieux, it won't even be close in any round, for as long as it goes.

Lemieux has as much chance of beating Macklin, as Bute has of beating Wlad Klitschko.
