Whoever is promoting him is not doing his job right when you have guys like Alexander, Bradley, Guerrero, as so on making more money per fight then him.

I would like him to clean out his division or at least unify some belts...then fight Mayweather...but he's a middleweight Floyd is a welterweight...those are my reasons.

How much did he get from Jr? I assume that was a good payday.

You mean a payday in general, or a payday against Floyd? He deserves the former, of course. And he got one against Junior. But against Floyd (or Canelo and Cotto), he'd help his cause if he actually went down and fought as the junior middleweight his promoter keeps telling us he is. It he did that -- and beat one or two people -- then he absolutely would deserve his shot at Cotto, Canelo and Floyd if he's still wanting to fight there.

Martinez cleaned out the division and won... He won the WBC and WBO titles.. + the Linear and Ring magazine title.. Both sanctioning bodies stripped him.. and he won the WBC back again..

There is no one left to fight.. Geale at least wants 2 fights in Ausie.. Sturm won't leave Germany.. Golovkin would be a great fight, but he is going to 168 it seems..
There is no one left too fight.. I really wouldn't mind if he takes in Cotto simply to get paid.. and then call it a career.. Floyd and Canelo are never going to fight him.

1.4 million secured.. But they were anticipating 350 K ppv buys.. It did 475.. So i guess he got somewhere close to 2 mil.

Also remember, the guy is on his late 30s.

If he wants to cash out,he doesnt have much time. He dopesnt really have the time to fight 2 or 3 fights and THEN get the big money fight, he'll be nearly 40 by then!
