Fact is, what Hendo did was worse - WAY worse - than anything Bisping has done. Hendo deliberately and viciously attacked a man who he knew damned well was knocked out and totally defenseless. There is no excuse at all for his full-strength, thuggish attack on an unconscious father of two, and then to brag about it in the postfight interview was a real piece of **** move.

Bisping publicly apologized to Rivera in the cage after their fight. Hendo bragged and thought he was cool for committing a brutal criminal assault. If you are a fan of MMA, that cheap shot should leave a bad taste in your mouth.

But then, why even bother responding to such a troll in the first place? It's not like I'll get a proper response instead of another juvenile retort. atsch

The only thing Hendo did that was different than what almost every fighter does (follow up on their KO) is admit that he was aware. It doesn't become "criminal" until you are hitting him after the ref has stopped the fight.

It was a Professional prize prize fight and he didnt attack him after the Ref stopped it, Daley did and got **** canned, that's a total strawman

Moral of the story, dont act like a bad ass and try to intimidate and humiliate Dan Henderson on nation TV :deal

Hendo knew damned well that Bisping was out cold and the fight was over. He then made a conscious decision to give him a full-strength flying punch anyway, based purely on his personal dislike of Bisping. It wasn't a case of a fighter carried away in the heat of the moment trying to make certain of a finish. It was a guy who made the calculated decision to attack an unconscious man with a brutal, full-strength power shot to the face.

Post-fight interview:

"Did you know he was out before you landed this one?"
"Normally I'm not that way in fights, I know if the guy's out, I tend to stop, I knew I had him out and I think that one was just to shut him up a little bit."

He knew the fight was over and then attacked him again anyway, purely out of personal malice. That's when it stopped being a sporting contest, and became an assault. :nono The only reason the ref hadn't yet stopped it was because Hendo was closer to Bisping than the ref was. Completely unacceptable, thuggish, dangerous and totally classless. Not the end of the world, but not something that any fighter should get a pass for. :-(
