Can Zab turn back the clock and upset the young upstart? he's done it twice recently on paper, he got the decision against Lucas Matthysse in a fight I personally had Matthysse winning quite handily but he looked impressive as hell in his last fight against Vernon Paris in which he was coming off an absolute stinker against Amir Khan.

I'd have preferred to have seen Garcia vs Matthysse (Isn't Matthysse actually the mandatory challenger?) and Matthysse has come on so much since his fight with Judah 2 years ago even though I still had him winning it so that fight would have been much better imo.

How do you guys see this going?

A lot of people are going to hate on this fight, but I'll take it, provided Garcia steps it up to some of the other younger names at his weight class.

I still don't get how Zab gets so many title shots though. I suppose there a ton of people out ther who know Zab can put up a nice effort and if he does happen to break down, that **** is entertaining.

This is a fairly close fight. Judah should come in confident, which normally means a good performance.

Garcia's power will ultimately take the decision. Judah will likely land a few more total punches, but Garcia will land the round defining shots.

I can see some controversy in the scoring and Garcia haters/Khan supporters saying he had problems with Judah or was given a gift decision.

    Garcia for sure...

That said, Garcia's money punch is the wide hooks, and he isn't very fast with them. Zab better hope to load up and lunge/punch and get inside when Garcia throws hooks.

I think Pernell Whittaker was all wrong for Zab Judah if i'm honest, now he's back to being trained by Yoel Judah he's back to what he was like a few years ago, looking to be an agressive motherf-cker like he was against Paris, walking him down and putting the pressure on, he was doing a poor impression of Whittaker in the Mabuza and Khan fights, granted it worked in the end when he fought Mabuza but it was completely wrong style to take in against Khan.

Could be interesting fight this one.

No doubt that Zab has bundles of talent, he CAN win this fight because he's the better fighter in pretty much every area apart from two of the most important, chin and heart.

His chin has been cracked and he's been knocked out and dropped a few times, his heart is his biggest enemy as he switches off and looks for a back door when things aren't going his way, every punch Garcia has taken has just bounced off him and his heart is without question, this kid is a out and out warrior.

Zab is one fight removed from a completely one sided TKO5 loss..... and he gets a shot at the champion?

I am a zab fan but thats just stupid.

It´s the Goldenboy way. They slowly build you up and then test you. If you fail they will throw you under the bus. If you succeed they will protect you.
Judah fight makes sense. He still has a name so it will help Garcias popularity.
    Same as Ward/Pavlik.
