    Who has had the bigger pay days from Boxing? And who was worth more in total?

    I know that Mike has blown an absolute FORTUNE, but Floyd has as well. And his purses these days are ridiculously high!

    Tyson made ten mil for fighting Golata with no belts on the line, the guy was a huge attraction.


    Mayweather's purses are higher, but I'm no expert of who earned what or inflation rates. I prefer to make technical observations.

    I know Tyson/Spinks did $25m, Tyson and Holy did more than £30m
    and this was years ago

    Obviously Tyson. Purses weren´t that high in the 50s/60s/70s.

    Safe to say that Floyd hasn't or won't get near to the $300 million that Tyson accumulated throughout his career then?

    I believe he was talking about Mayweather though, not Patterson. At least that's what it looks like to me.

    It's pretty close in PPV numbers, but because of technology, not popularity, PPV is more accessible and widespread now, shows like 24/7 help promote fights too.

    Mayweather probably keeps a higher percent of his PPV revenues
