What are the most important "qualities" to have to be successful at boxing?

    Motivation,

    A strong Chin,

    Speed,

    Power,

    Endurance,

    Timing,

    Accuracy,

    Defensive head movement

    etc

    etc

    What do you think are the MOST important qualities to have, in order to be successful at boxing?

    The ability to actually do something instead of asking silly questions is important.

    Hey man I train as well Im just enthusiastic, I only have tuition once per week atm. Cant a guy be enthusiastic?

    Enthusiasm is awesome, but the posts you make on here are very indicative of the way you approach your training. You over analyse and over think everything. You're asking about parallel parking and three point turns when you should be learning how to wear your seatbelt right.

    Knowing what you're trying to do at all times and seeing the bigger picture...playing chess, not checkers. The ability to enjoy hurting people, and the ability to not be a *****. Also, hard work and dedication.

    The ability to recognise your weaknesses and work on them

    Having open ears is incredibly important
