I think people are overlooking Vanes. His right hand will do alt of damage in this fight.

 

Alot of people just overrate Vanes on here. I think Lara is going to win rather easily.

My thoughts too Lara needs that ko cause tr card Lara could easily get robbed in a close fight or have judges give the close rounds to vanes, so I think well be seeing an active smart agressiveness from lara. It's all on vanes how this fight will play.

 

Lara is the truth, Vanes is mad over rated.

 

Vanes seems more comfortable than most when fighting soutpaws but a drained Greene was still able to land his jab all night. I see Lara doing much of the same though he often appears to wait too long for that perfect opportunity to let his hands go. Lara won't change very much for this fight so this tendency will keep the contest closer than it probably should be. Martirosyan's a solid slugger but he doesn't punch quite hard enough to offset his defensive weaknesses against a sharp shooter of Lara's ability.

With all this said, the odds do seem to be a bit steep...

This is exactly why I'm not betting this fight, despite being one of the biggest Vanes skeptics here. Lara's low workrate + a Top Rank card does not give me the most confidence in the world. I also think people have been a bit too quick to crown Lara as it is, though I still think he'll win.
