Tszyu had legit 1 punch power. Not one of Manny's opponents had that much pop in their fist.It could go either way.If Tszyu lands that right it could be over red rover for Manny.Or Tszyu get's his head jolted by Manny and the accumulative damage might be too much for the Russian. It would have been a WAR!!
Shittiest post I've seen in a long time. __________________________________________________ I'd favour Pacquiao. He seemed at his peak physically in the Hatton bout, combined with his durability and skillset, I could see him outworking and even stopping Tszyu. Tszyu had great timing, and his right was a joy to watch, but Pacquiao's chin is tried and tested. And this was the Pacquiao who would answer back almost immediately after getting tagged, a Pacquiao who ran on pride.
At those saying 'Zu would stop Pacquiao. As AnthonyW above has said, Pacquiao's chin has been tried and tested against solid punchers much bigger than him. The man was walking through shots from Cotto and Marg. It'll be an entertaining fight, but the 08-10 version of Pacquiao at that weight would be too unconventional with his angles, speed, footwork, etc. No disrespect to 'Zu, but he's no match for special fighters like Pac or May. ****, even a well conditioned, non-drained Cotto -- like a prime 147 version -- would beat him.
:nut Oh, Gawd. Stop overrating Cotto. He gets KTFO by Tszyu.Cotto cannot take Kostya's punches. Mayflower's uppercut wobbled him lol.Mayflower doesn't hit as hard as Tszyu.**** it, Pacquiao doesn't hit as hard as Tszyu.Cotto get's cracked on that JAW he is goin to sleep.:tong You sayin Kostya's not special himself? Kostya is a heck of a boxer in his own rights.
Oops. Hit a nerve, have we? Pacquiao hits very hard, and his accumulation of punches are dangerous enough to stop anybody - something which would have happened to even an iron-chinned, 20-pound heavier Margarito if his corner had any sense. So Cotto being hurt/stopped by him, does not automatically mean he'd be put to sleep by one Kosta shot. Nor does him being momentarily stunned by Mayweather late on in a fight, mean it either. Cotto to his credit has, at most, been knocked down only (excluding corners/refs stepping in for him). And those were against big punchers - Torres and Pacquiao. He has never been close to being put to sleep. He's only been stopped by high-volume, aggressive punchers that come at him non-stop. Being a big puncher doesn't automatically earn you a knockout victory against him - ask Shane Mosley. But I do like your way of thinking, though: ":ahhhh ahhhh, Pac and Mayflower hurt Cotto....so ahhhh....Kostya kill Cotto". Totally ignore the other dynamics involved, why don't you. Focus on punching power only. With that said, 'Zu was indeed a heck of a fighter. So stop being butthurt. But he falls short of that special, elite tier. I'd be more inclined to put him on the same level as Cotto and co. And there's nothing wrong with that.
I kinda favor Tsyzu, cuz if he was able to land the right on him the way Marquez did, then Pacman would be taking a nap.
Tszyu knocks the overhyped Poochiao out in 2 rounds. Look what he did to Judah who is 100 times more slick than a bum who can't cut off the ring.
agreed. cotto is a much better fighter at 147 than 140. miguel was weight-drained which affected his punch resistance at jww and kt wouldve killed cotto at 140. kt is probably the hardest hitting 140 ever. for the newbies here just youtube the two rounds against the prime, undefeated, jww ko artist zab. it wasnt one punch. zab was already feeling the strength and power of kt mid-way throught the first round. cutting off the ring by the second and landing both lefts and rights zab knew the inevitable ko was coming. and thats why zab never asked for a rematch. the same people here that are downplaying the skills of kt are the same people that bet judah as a 3-1 favorite.
cotto was on *****-street against both jww's corley and torres. i agree that at 147 cotto probably wouldnt have had a problem with the power and sheer stregnth kt enjoyed against other jww's but at 140 cotto would not have survived once he was hurt against tszyu.
What an amazing match up this would have been. I think the Pacquaio who beat Cotto and Hatton wouldve probably won a decision with Tszyu. A close, vicious bout.
Yeah, the Cotto of 140, when he was raw and more vulnerable, would have probably been hurt and beaten by a prime 'Zu.
