TBH that's his style, **** poor.

I'm actually surprised that when McCloskey trained with Breen and Magee that Magee didn't implement some his own "slick southpaw" style into McCloskeys crappier version, he could have at least showed him how to throw a proper right hook lead or overhand left

Yeah good call, not sure whether Magee doesn't like Dudey and thought i'll help you but not to the point i'm showing you tricks of my own.

Magee was good, McCloskey is dire in comprasion. Yet amazingly McCloskey has won the British and European titles and fought for a alpabet title which Magee never got a chance to do.

 

well to be fair McCloskey actually trains lol, the fact that Magee was as good as he was despite smoking and going on the **** weeks before every fight showed how good he actually could have been

I know there was a falling out between Magee and Rogan, Magee is not the easiest man to get along with

 

Yeah Magee seems that type of guy.

TBF Magee fought at a fringe world class level even in Commonwealth title fights. McCloskey compared has had a extremely easy road, It's a shame Magee never buckled down because i think if he really wanted to he could of taken Hatton into far deeper waters then he did. Probably would of gained British and European titles and had a title shot at someone with a alphabet title as well.

McCloskey obviously is blaming his displays on being stale i presume..

 

It's only one side of the story. I would find it very dissappointing if true though.
