That left hand landed over 100 times on PW chin and only really stunned him once. That same left hand landed on career 140 pounder Hernandez plenty of times clean and he never went down.

I just dont see all this power people are talking about. Lara does knock out the lower level dudes pretty good but the elites he has faced that power was never there. Now we do not know if Vanes is elite but he is up there talent wise. He is also a big dude with skills. A small dude with skills(Molina) worked Lara. Vanes has the size and the quick right hand to trouble a southpaw like Lara. Besides Lara is too patient. He needs to stop Vanes to get a decison here as people said and Vanes will probably outwork him if need be.

    My guess is Vanes TKO.

Vanes is ****ing shocking and has a **** attitude. He's also a massive ***** who continuously calls out fighters and then ducks them, but his hand has been forced on this one and i can't wait untill he's knocked the **** out.

Possibly my most disliked fighter in the sport right now.

Vanes is going to win, possibly by KO.

Vanes had issues with Ouma who delivered a lot of pressure, but that won't be the case with Lara.

Vanes also has the height and reach advantage, and he's a well schooled boxer puncher.

Vanes will also throw in combinations and he goes to the body.

Lara tends to put earmuffs on and he's stationary, when his opponents are throwing at him.

This will give Vanes an opportunity to hit Lara to the body, and break him down late for a KO.

That has very little bearing on this fight.

Ouma is a come foward pressure fighting warrior. This is the same guy that sustained a brain injury against GGG and still wouldn't stop fighting.

He had to be stopped by the ref.

Vanes is a good puncher, but he's not in GGG's category.

Lara and Ouma are polar opposites in style.

Ouma was shot to hell. Lara > Shot to hell Ouma in every category.

Lara applies pressure as well, just smart pressure and sets traps in his fights. Both are southpaw, both use a high guard. They aren't as different as you'd want to believe unless you believe Lara is leagues better than Shot Ouma, which is believeable.

The odds are wider than they should be, but Lara is a legitimate favorite. He should be no lower than -300, but not quite as high as he is.

    Wow.

You don't have any idea what the **** you're talking about.

Ouma applies consistant, Margarito style pressure. He is a whirlwind of punches.

After he fought Vanes (key word after)...

He still managed to go 10 rounds with extremelly hard punching GGG.

    10 rounds.

Considering Vanes doesn't punch nearly as hard as GGG, doesn't it seem reasonable that a guy with a lot of durability would give a guy like Vanes problems?

****, Freddy Hernandez gave Lara problems.

Two completely different styles. Styles make fights.

Lara's style is NOTHING like Ouma's. Ouma will take a punch to land two. Ouma will punch while his opponent is punching.

Lara doesn't like to take punches and he tends to cover up when is opponents are punching in combination.

You're confusing Hernandez with Josesito Lopez, Hernandez career has been always around 147-150 lbs, started at 160.Change the CD.

Ouma being able to handle Golo's power means nothing to a Lara/Vanes fight.

Are you saying Vanes is going to KO Lara? :think

Ouma was shot, and if Vanes was any good he wouldn't have nearly ****ing lost against him. :patsch

Vanes could win, Lara looks decent but he can be outworked.

This fight is gonna be so good, Vanes has said he is gonna focus on Laras Chin and Ribs... Which is very good as I have seen Lara many times visually disturbed and taken out of his gameplan when body shots are landing and he is retreating taking a break I mean blown up welterweight hernandez troubled Lara with body shots and pressure, I'm sure Vanes can apply smart pressure specially utilizing his reach and height advantage.

I think Vanes height and reach advantage can play a big part, we know he can box and has a good workrate, and that right hand will play a huge part for vanes and his ability to attack the body constantly.

We also know he is well schooled in boxing as his Amateur run was very good, beating great fighters, and representing USA in the Olympics alongside great talent like direll and ward, so he had a great run in the amateurs and will not be schocked with Laras graet boxing ability...

Vanes will be punishing that body and tagging Lara with his right.

I just hope its a good fight and not some borefest where Vanes knows he will get the Judges nod in a close fight, and both fight like they have everything to lose.
