Competitive? Yes! But close? No, Chisora won at least eight rounds. Helenius is tough, but Chisora can't bang as hard as Price.

So you think Helenius will beat Price because he's fought Chisora and Sam Peter?

:huh it makes no sense at all? maybe you're stupid?

    1) it was the shoulder, not the hand.

    2) the pace was set mostly by his opponents, not helenius. he's clearly not active enough when in the ring.

    3) he does hurt his opponents, i never said he didn't. but the fighters are mostly shop worn. it's not hard to do that in these circumstances. the freshest fighter he's been in against, was chisora. and he's not exactly known for a high work rate, but it was much higher than helenius. he clearly beat him.

did you not read my post? i clearly said that anything can happen to price when someone lands, but we don't know enough at this stage.
helenius might be able to knock him out. or, price might be able to take what helenius has to offer... we don't yet know.

i do hope you got that? :-(

That's what I guessed. Lol, if Price would have fought and got a lucky decision against Chisora, people would be calling him ****. But Helenius get's away with it.

SOME fight fans on here are racist against British fighters. It's a shame.

The first part is true, but who says the pace has to be set by the better fighter? Tell that to Ward, Golovkin, Mayweather, etc.

Sometimes, the smart strategy is to conserve your energy, "passively" control your opponent, and wait for the opportune moment to strike.

I really think this is what Helenius does, and he's very good at it. True, we don't know if it will hold up to a really aggressive fighter (as I said earlier) but it is foolish to say "He's not active enough." He's won every bout so far, (& don't bring up the Chisora fight, which he effectively lost but only due to serious injury.)

So, how much more active did he need to be?

When Helenius finally faces someone like Price, or maybe Jennings, THEN we'll see if he can turn up the workrate.

the level of opposition has nothing to do with his workrate, that's just the way he is. if he isn't throwing enough punches against lower level comp, then he's not all of a sudden going to start throwing more against better, more dangerous fighters is he?

IMO, throw in a dangerous fighter like price, then i think the amount of punches he throws will drop, not rise.

when chisora was in there with him, he took advantage of these quiet moments from helenius. not throwing punches is going to entice his opponents, not keep them away.

if he's not throwing enough punches against someone like price, he'd be walked down to the ropes and have huge bombs launched at him. he needs to keep those punches going to keep them at bay, otherwise he's going to run into trouble because of it.

we've had a real good taste of it with chisora, so it will happen again. i don't think he'll change. he could prove me wrong, but i doubt it.

Clearly, you've never boxed. (and yes, I have. 20-1 as an amateur.)

One of the most important things a fighter has to learn is to not always go all out. That's a great way to get KO'd. You pace yourself based on your opposition. Ask ANY good trainer about this.

This doesn't mean that Robb automatically has more gas in the tank than we've seen, it just means we don't know. - But your statement above is completely wrong.

  11. The same Helenius that struggled against Chisora and was very lucky to get the win Hahaha..

I warned you didn't I. If Williams can do that to Helenius, what will Price do?

Price by decision or possibly even a knockout. I was on the Helenius bandwagon until the Chisora fight. Ok, so he was injured. Fine, we can excuse that one. But the man looked like **** against an old, out of shape Sherman Williams who at his best was a C level heavyweight. Robert Helenius should be on NO ONES top ten heavyweight list.

    I agree.

Helenius looked like he didn't GAF against Williams. Also, while his defense was quite good for the first half of the fight, it practically disappeared in the second half.

After today's fight, I'm even questioning the Chisora fight. (must watch it again.) Maybe robb wasn't really hurt until the end, and he just doesn't have any heart. - I'm not sure yet, but it is a HUGE question mark at this point.
