I'm sure those who like to talk about top 10 lists can find a way to argue Mayweather out of the list.

I say he is top 10 (130) & leave it at that. :good

anyone that falls to his hands and knees and cries in the ring after beating arturo gatti should never be considered an all-time gerat in any weight class.

journeyman alfonso gomez ko's gatti and its business as usual.

    Your an idiot

He has an extremley strong resume with alot of very good fighters to fall back on through the weights.

This thread is adressing his welterweight run, where he has fought good but not great oposition.

    Mitchell - Ok win
    Judah - Good win
    Baldomir - Ok win
    Hatton - Good win
Marquez - Ok win (gets better with time)
    Mosley - Good win
    Ortiz - Ok win

Also, the reason why they are considered only ok wins is because of the level of skills Floyd has as a fighter, so whether you admit it or not he is automatically getting judged because of his skills. If you give that resume to a lesser fighter it becomes a good resume.

This dosnt include DeLa Hoya and Cotto - both very good wins considering they are both 24lbs above his peak weight. Pac gets credit for the DLH win because of the size difference. It was the same for Mayweather.

Delahoya has a strong résumé Floyd will always have an OK resume !And the Marquez win will not get better with time considering the man's best weight was south of 147. Floyd's biggest fights have come at above 140 and they have been nothing but sub standard .More names than anything!

Floyd has a very good resume at the end of the day

Not as good as Pacquiaos for example, but still better than 85% of boxing world champions ever

85 %of boxing champs ever ,nah that's reaching especially considering his cherry picking. No fighters in their prime to really crow about! And his resume is what keeps him in the 40 -50 range all time .
