Why do Mexico and Puerto Rico have so many world champions?

Great Boxing pedigrees. Puerto Rico and Cuba jump out due to the size of their islands and how successful they have become in cu ltivating world champs. pretty amazing.

 

Boxing is part of the culture and sense of pride in those countries.

Not good at other sports

 

Their fighters are smaller in size than many other countries so they tend to dominate the lower weight classes.

 

Soccer, baseball

Who needs to be better at other sports when you are physically whooping other guys asses?

 

Mexicans are good at football so fair enough (soccer)

Don't know about Mexico, but it's a miracle if Puto Ricans are taller than 5"2 let alone be competitive in real sports like American football, not that homo ***** **** referred to as Futbol.
