Rumor is GoldenBoy is pushing for that ..I tell you this is a bad move for Cleverly .Hopkins is going to ruin him .Even at this stage its too much experience for the young lion ..But hey I hope he proves me wrong ..As much crap as I have talked on Hopkins I implore anyone to go watch him at work ..This is a hall of famer ,if you have not watched him live do so while he's still around ! I just pray there is no fouling ..We all know how that turns out in Hopkins fight .Still worth the ticket !

I just realised Hopkins will be 48 when his next fight happens and he'd have been inactive for 10 months, something has got to give being 2 years shy of 50 he surely can't beat another world ranked opponent :verysad

If he does he a timeless wonder or the oldest juicer in sports :lol:But either way at least you know Hopkins will be in shape ..Its not like its Toney fighting at 48 ..

I DO like BHOP but...I would like to see him...pass the torch...I have never wanted to see him beat before...until Pascal or Ward

This pretty much what i've been thinking before the Pascall and pavlik fights too. I am not that high on Cleverly, i thought he lost to Bellew. I would really not be surprised if he schools Cleverly.

Barclays taking over the EastCoast boxing scene.
(Taking advantage of AC NJ's misfortune... TCB)

    MSG might get replaced...

Anybody else no longer enjoying Hopkins? I really wish he would retire.

Yeah, I really don't see the point in all of this, besides retiring with a win.

I'd like it to be someone easy and then retirement. Not a joke fight or anything, just one of the dependable but wholly average kind of guys. He might be more shot than we think.

I watch for the sake of it. The tricks are still there and so are his legs, but he's offensively shot.
