When one guy speaks one language and the other speaks something different, it's kinda funny how each one makes threats that can't be understood by either guy. Oh well. In that type of situation I suppose you can assume someone's telling you he wants to kick your ass no matter what language he speaks.

I think vanes has a really chance to spring the upset but I just can't pick the kid. I think he's going to get ktfoed. He just a typical freddy roach fighter and it's completely ****ing annoying how he makes the same mistakes the rest of freddy's fighters do. He never uses his jab, he throws from too far out and lunges in, he has absolutely no head or upperbody movement, he never chances his level and he uses his feet and a shitty two guard for defense. God this style is annoying. This fight actually reminds me of the Marquez Pacquiao fights. A good counter punching boxer vs a guy who uses athleticism and fast hard combinations to beat his opponents. The only problem is Lara has got really good power and vanes isn't the monster that Pacquiao is. I predict a mid rounds Lara knock out.

 

All of this will depend on Vanes's chin. If he can take Lara's best shots, he'll win.

 

Lara is no Marquez. He's doesn't have the footwork. Instead of moving when his opponent punches, he puts the earmuffs on.

This will give Vanes an opportunity to capitalize on his body, break him down, stop him late.
