Was thinkong about this earlier. With these eastern euro robots possesing freakish heigjt advantages over say a solid guy like haye. Do u think it would have been fairer if for example haye-wlad was at a catchweight?

Absolutely. If Haye got Bitschko to agree to the 210-pound limit, that fight would've gone very, very differently...

If Haye beat Wlad and had all the power in the division to call the shots maybe

Haye can be a ***** but i dont think he would ask for a catch, hes a cocky sportsman who likes the ****ing challenge, he had the attitude of im gonna take down these big men in the division and he came up short

i think it would be good for fighters who are fat like if Stiverne and Arreola had a catch of 240 then Arreola would be in shape

A 240lb Arreola is not in shape. He would naturally be a 220 guy if he had the dedication to train like a professional athlete. He's not particularly thickset or wide of frame. I agree though that in cases where both fighters are of a comparable size if might be an idea for governing bodies to restrict the amount of weight they can come into the ring at, not because it gives them an advantage (if anything it would be the other way round) but just to ensure that the fight isn't a total disgrace of bouncing blubber.

Ensuring that both Stiverne and Arreola can't weigh in higher than 225 would make both fighters train hard and possibly result in a better fight for the fans, as well as going some way to restoring some of the dignity of the division.
