Defo Ish :good, This kid is quite skilled in some aspects of his game.

This could become a dogfight if he settles down in middle rounds. Shame he's only had a week to prepare because he's not doing terrible.

His trainer is right, fight centre ring. Vince probably can't see a thing with those shades on.

God I wish Clev would settle down and put a little bit extra in to his punches too many flurries that do next to no damage.

Hawk isn't awful, surprisingly. He's a decent opponent for a US appearance like this.

How you mean? He is still landing pretty much at will to my eyes, just getting hit a bit too much.

The left hook to body is hurting Cleverly. The Cleverly onslaughts are mostly hitting gloves.

Tell ya know this lad's putting up a fantastic effort. A nice variety.

Get the fight centre ring Hawk. He can do damage.

You know who I think would be a good fit for Nathan? Billy Nelson. Billy's shown a great aptitude for taking supremely fit, lanky, light-punching boxers and getting the most from them. At the very least he'd teach Nathan how to turn his left hook over properly.

Think he looks very in control. He's mixing his work up nicely, just changed the pace on Hawk nicely.

Haha fair enough. I changed my post to sound like less of a dick:lol:

Thing is Clev is never gonna improve past his current ability with his mental dad in the corner. He will be able to outwork some decent contenders but the top guys would pick him apart.

  13. might call him out after watching dis

I'd expect him to TBH, I just think he could do a lot more against this level of operator.

I think moving into a boxer in the last round was smart, probably called upon by Dean Powell. I do worry about Cleverly's ring IQ.

Mixes the work nicely in terms of punch selection. But i think against better opponents the lack of power is going to cost him sadly. Just not enough on them to gain a better fighters respect.
